“We provide both assertive and sensitive representation to divorce clients in New York and New Jersey at the trial and appellate levels”

We concentrate on Family Law matters. This site provides information on the Family Laws of New York and New Jersey and the issues related to divorce, child custody and visitation, alimony and child support, as well as the distribution of property and other related issues. As an experienced Family Law Firm, we understand the emotional fragility and financial concerns of people confronted with these life-altering decisions affecting them and their children.

For over 30 years, my firm has been devoted to helping men and women — and children — through the stressful changes in their lives has given the firm insight into human behavior in the best and worst situations. Our successful reputation at the trial and appellate levels is based on our ability to ensure that our clients have the tools to make informed, objective decisions during these traumatic times. Because this firm concentrates in family law, we have specific expertise and skills in matters relating to taxation, property, and custody. We stay abreast of the most recent legislation and judicial decisions regarding domestic relations law and apply our people skills, resources and knowledge to zealously represent our client’s goals and objectives.

As I have now had experience “in the client’s chair” in the divorce process, I am particularly sensitive and understanding with regard to the full range of emotions that one experiences in a divorce.

I encourage everyone to read my guest blog at the Psychology Today website entitled “How My Divorce Made Me a Better Divorce Lawyer” at http://www.psychologytoday.com/em/86307.

THIS WEEK ON THE DIVORCE HOUR

Following up on my interview last week with Dr. Nancy Kalish, Psychology Professor at California State University, talking about her books, Lost and Found Lovers:  Facts and Fantasies of Rekindled Romances and The Lost Love Chronicles, I continue the high school reunion theme with at least one other member of Roslyn High School’s class of 1972, to talk about excitement, expectations and surprises at my own high school reunion.    Can it really be 40 years?

We will talk about this on Friday at Noon, Eastern time at Talking Alternative Radio: TalkingAlternative.com.

Please listen live and call in with your questions or comments at (877) 480-4120.

Too shy to call? Don’t be. But if you are, you can email me at larry@divorcebybloom.com or instant message me at the Facebook Fan Page of Talking Alternative.

Call in and join the fun. And don’t forget to tell your friends about the show.

See you on the radio.
