I know, some blog. I go almost a month without any posts.
Well, here goes…
First happy new year. Better late than never.
If the Mayans and Nostradamus are right, enjoy the year to the fullest as there may not be a December 22nd. Of course, if they are wrong, remember there may be consequences (bills and other ramifications) if there is a December 22nd or a 2013.
The Divorce Hour, my weekly radio show at www.talkingalternative.com, is entering its third year. We have some terrific guests lined up over the next couple of months. Try to listen live, Fridays at noon eastern time, or on podcast (same site, just go to Live Shows then Friday Shows then The Divorce Hour). Listening live allows you to call in and be a part of the show. 877-480-4120.
Last week, January 13th, Mark Banschick, MD, discussed his book, The Intelligent Divorce.
Tomorrow, January 20th, E L James, discusses her novels 50 Shades of Grey, 50 Shades Darker and the newly released this week, Fifty Shades Darker. Join us to find out why women can’t put down these novels and why they won’t talk with men about them.
Next week, on January 27th, Sheril Kirschenbaum, Ph.D., discusses her book, The Science of Kissing. I thought it was an art and not a science, but my guest has another take on it.
The February 3rd show will be determined. Either a rebroadcast or a pre-broadcast during my vacation.
February 10th we have Ivy Menchel on the show. Ivy is a Certified Divorce Financial Planner.
February 17th we have Jean Grossman, a divorce coach back on the show.
ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH, IVY, JEAN AND I WILL BE GIVING A SEMINAR ON NAVIGATING YOUR DIVORCE WITH DIGNITY IN MY ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS OFFICE. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR MORE INFO.
On February 24th, Annabella Curran will be my guest to discuss the Spring Session of the Take a Stand for Respect divorce and separated workshop with which I am involved and which will begin a 12 week run on March 6th.
Finally, on March 2nd, I will be talking with good friend Laura Olivares, of B Organized, professional organizers, about her new project, Nothing Forgotten, which serves those of us who have been left behind after the death, sudden or otherwise, of a loved one — a subject near and dear to my heart.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Larry Bloom has a heart. Don’t let the other side know!
